Students will learn to understand and use necessary grammar and vocabulary for reading articles and essays on immediate topics of interest and writing reports on them, attending classes, and expressing their own opinions. |

B1 level in the CEFR/JF Standard for Japanese-Language Education Understand the necessary sentence structures/expressions, and when, where, and how to use them, to achieve the below goals: -Listen to and understand brief reasons and explanations of plans and actions, express one's own opinions (listening, speaking) -Learn to read short texts relevant to one's own specialized field or interests and understand their primary conclusions (reading) -Learn to combine a series of short, discrete elements into a single, cohesive, simple text related to an immediate issue (writing) |
