Class Goals and Outline |

Students will learn academic Japanese necessary to read logical writing such as reports in specialized fields, academic articles, specialized books, newspaper articles etc., understand classes in specialized subjects, and give oral presentations. Special attention will be given to pronunciation. |

B2 level in the CEFR/JF Standard for Japanese-Language Education (N1 in the JLPT). Only open to DEEp-Bridge students. |

Learning Objectives |

Achieve CEFR/JF Standard for Japanese-Language Education C1 Level -Learn to read relatively long texts and find necessary information in them -Learn to follow long speeches on abstract, complex topics on a wide range of themes -Learn to clearly and coherently describe complex topics and write about them with emphasis on important, relevant points -Learn to clearly and in detail describe and present complex topics -Learn to maintain a high degree of grammatical accuracy |
