Class Goals and Outline

Students will learn speaking skills needed to give clear, systematic presentations on a wide range of topics in relevant fields.

Eligibility

A2.2 level in the CEFR/JF Standard for Japanese-Language Education (N3 in the JLPT).

Learning Objectives

B1 level in the  CEFR/JF Standard for Japanese-Language Education

-Learn to give brief reasons and explanations regarding opinions, plans, and actions

-Learn to discuss experiences in detail, while talking about one's own feelings and reactions

-Learn to describe in detail sequences of events in books and movies

-Learn to understandably express one's own opinions on solutions to practical problems

-Learn to give basic presentations relatively fluently on related themes

-Learn to respond to questions

Fall/spring terms: once/week (1 period/week), 14 classes total
