Class Goals and Outline |

Students will gain a multifaceted understanding of Japanese culture through exchanging opinions on Japanese language usage and communication styles with Japanese and international students while deepening their knowledge of many world cultures. |

-Gain new perspectives on one's own cultural sphere (Japanese culture if the student is Japanese) by observing Japanese culture. -Learn to recognize various communication styles among others of different linguistic and cultural backgrounds, and interact in a mutually considerate manner. |
